Site coordinator: DeJanae Douglas

My name is DeJanae Douglas and I am the Site Coordinator at University High School in Ferndale. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Youth and Family from Michigan State University. I am currently in my last year of my grad program.  I am pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Wayne State University. I'm going into my third school year as the Site Coordinator at UHS. I have been working with WSU C2 Pipeline Program for going on four years. I started as the Assistant Site Coordinator for C2 Pipeline at Oak Park High School. In my short time out of college I have worked with many youth across the Detroit and Lansing areas. I have pursued roles ranging from tutoring to advising. Prior to working with C2, I  was a College Adviser for Michigan State University's College Advising Corps at Osborn High School in Detroit, MI. That position prepared me to help my students at University High School become more College and Career Ready. This year I plan to help all my students excel in all that they want to do in life.
