Afterschool Fun
C2 Pipeline has started off this year's afterschool program with a bang! Our sites offer 2.5 hours of programming Monday - Thursday. During this time, students receive dinner, academic help and participate in hands-on, project based enrichments. It's a terrific time for students to get to know their peers, have fun and learn about a wide array of the up-and-coming career pathways. In addition to STEM career exploration, C2 Pipeline aims to expose students to a variety of cultural experiences. Below, you will find some of the activities and events that our students participated in during the month of December.

Student of the Month: Sabrina Yang (Fitzgerald High School)
Sabrina Yang is a current freshman at Fitzgerald High School in Warren. She attends C2 Pipeline regularly - and has achieved full-time student status! Sabrina comes to program even though she has many other responsibilities in her life, demonstrating a tremendous commitment to the program and dedication to college/career preparation. She participates and contributes to the group with a great attitude. Keep up the great work, Sabrina! We are excited to see what the future has in store for you!
Staff Member of the Month: Serina Loftis (Warren Woods Tower High School)
Serina is the Site Coordinator at Warren Woods Tower High School, she served as Site Coordinator last year at Harper Woods High School. During her two years with C2 Pipeline, Serina has provided the organization with new ideas, a unique perspective and goes above and beyond to help her students achieve their goals. Serina is very organized and is always helpful at meetings when someone needs assistance. She is always thinking about new ways to present the materials to her students and does not hesitate in sharing great ideas with her colleagues and site staff. Thank you for all you do, Serina!
C2 Partner of the Month: Bricks4Kidz
Bricks4Kidz goes the extra mile to ensure rewarding experiences for the C2 Pipeline students in the sites they offer programming in. This organization is dedicated to providing STEM programming in schools by creating activities in which students learn about engineering, robotics and ignite student creativity with the use of lego sets.
