Day Camps

C2 Pipeline hosted a record number of Day Camp opportunities for high school students in Metro Detroit - with 40 offerings during the months of June and July. Students came to Wayne State University campus to obtain hands-on experience in emerging STEM and health careers. The camps were varied in fields of study - and ranged from engineering topics such as Underwater Robotics and Coding, to health careers such as Nursing, to science fields such as Forensics and Gross Anatomy. C2 Pipeline partnered with several university and community experts to deliver state-of-the-art programs - designed to fuel student imagination, innovation and career exploration. Over 400 students attended our Day Camp programs during the span of 4 weeks. C2 Pipeline staff were elated to see the terrific turn out! Below are some pictures from the camps.

Warriors College Experience

C2 Pipeline hosted the sixth annual Warriors College Experience residential camp. This program is designed to be a "crash course" in college life - students lived in the Towers dorms for 11 days, attended STEM and health classes taught by WSU faculty and staff, spoke to entreprenuers, contributed to community service projects, explored the tremendous offerings of Midtown and Downtown Detroit, and competed for scholarships by developing an innovative solution for diabetic patients in their schools and communities. 100 students from various schools came together to explore their desired career field, they worked dilligently on their team projects and presented to a shark tank on the last day of camp. Throughout the program, students met new people, made new friendships and enhanced their leadership and teamwork skills. Their project blew the judges and C2 Pipeline staff away - with their fresh point of view and well researched solutions. Thank you to all of our students, parents, partners and community members for making this the most successful Warriors College Expereince to date!!
