Steering Committee
The Steering Committee includes management representatives from key organizations involved in a particular project, as well as other key stakeholder groups that have special interest in the outcome of the project. Members of the committee act individually and collectively as a vocal and visible project champion throughout their representative organizations. They help resolve issues and policy decisions, and provide direction and guidance to the project. The steering committee is involved in providing resources, assisting in securing funding, and acting as liaisons to their organization.
Major responsibilities of the Steering Committee:
